Think of all the images that teenagers are exposed to every day. Teachers can help learners use critical thinking skills to ‘read’ these visuals, and help develop different perspectives. Visual literacy encourages student reflection, analysis, and evaluative thinking skills. In this course, we’ll take your teaching to another level when it comes to using visuals in class.
In this course, we’ll:
- explore and learn visual literacy skills
- learn how to teach visual literacy skills in order to generate communication and critical thinking
- explore how students can create their own images to develop creative thinking skills
This is a 6 hour course.
