An Introduction to Social Justice Pedagogy

In this course, we’ll:

  • understand the growing need for social justice pedagogies to address issues of social inequity and injustice and empower all students 
  • look at practical techniques which encourage students to critically analyse, question and disrupt societal norms, structures and power dynamics; integrating diverse perspectives & voices 
  • explore a five-step social justice lesson framework that empowers students to see, feel, think, reflect and act
